When I ask for help, I never feel like it’s a chore for any of the employees, they are happy to help and seem to actually enjoy their jobs (sometimes rare to find in customer service). David even remembered that my new corgi is a really rough chewer and gave him a basically indestructible chew toy, without stuffing so I don’t need to worry about him ripping into it and swallowing the insides. Even my five year old schnauzer, who typically isn’t a huge fan of those hard chew toys, likes it too 🥹🥲

- MAMadi AnnOct 11, 20251.0Grooming Issue I went about two days ago to get my dog Sylvester groomed. He’s a small dogs and was fairly in decent condition(was told this by the petco staff when arriving). I noticed when i arrived the lady in the back telling my dog to shut up. Although i understood as my dog is loud. The day following i reached out regarding a cut on his belly. The manger recommended i go to the vet as the said they would cover it. I scheduled an appointment at my vet immediately. I gave petco a call letting them know the vet needs petco to contact them first for payment. The lady at petco grooming laughed and made a huge deal about having to call them saying “she has never had to deal with a vet like that”. Apparently they hurt dogs a lot and have to pay for it? I let them know when i got there and was ready to pay. They were rude and almost acting like my dog was not injured and they wanted proof before paying. They tried arguing with the vet staff and overall are just super weird. The groomer Heidi did her best on my dog and for that i’m grateful even if he got nicked by the clippers but the managers were weird and rude. I understand this happens but i expect to not be laughed at and dragged around after you told me to go to the vet.
