I'm not asking for world class service, but it would be nice to receive a "Hello" when greeted and maybe a "have a nice day" back, after I said it to the casher. She seemed to busy fumbling through her purse looking for the lip gloss she applied at check out. If you're not a customer service type of person that's fine but maybe DON'T work in customer service.
