  Really friendly staff and a super intimate location! Absolutely recommend, it’s always a pleasure to go to this store. The dog trainer is also a pleasure to work with and very knowledgeable!

  What a disgraceful display of incompetence, racial profiling, poor customer service, and hatefulness. Today I went to this Petco to purchase a gift, however this particular stuffed toy was sitting in a stroller with only the price of the stroller advertised. I went up to cash register where Nichelle, employee #144955 was running the register and asked her for a price check. While I was explaining to her that the day before there was a member price sale, and I was wanting to know the Petco member price of this particular item as there are member discounts on some items. Nichelle seemed flustered in general, and by her inability to: 1. perform a simple task, 2. the business of the store, and that, 3. as the only black person in the store, that a black women had the absolute gall to ask her to do what she was hired for, and was paid to do. In asking her to assist me in a basic task she was unable to perform, Nichelle lashed out and said I was being “rude”. At which point is asked her “I’m being rude by asking you to help me?” Nichelle then stated she had been helping the man in front of me, who had walked away from the register to continue to shop, and that my “persistence” was “rude.” Incompetence, bias and ignorance reveals itself when under pressure. This kind of profiling in this store is a pattern. The day or two before I’d visited the store to buy a various items, and a one point noticed I was being surreptitiously watched by an employee as I looked through a clothes rack (check your own cameras and see for yourselves). The sad part of this is that I’ve also had good experiences at this store. There are people whom work there that are very helpful, and will go out of their way to be of assistance. However, it only takes one bad apple, like Nichelle and the young lady who profiled me the day or two before, to spoil the whole bunch.

  Great experience! Very helpful staff! I am 8.5 months pregnant and the guy working at the register carried my dog food to my car for me - his idea! Made my day! So kind.

  Wow I am so amazed at this location the fact that I can wash my dog, I can even wash two dogs at the same time with the help of a friend. Any questions I have for help they are open mind. The fact that this location has been there this whole entire time I never would have thought very small and intimate. Even interacting with other customers has been a really nice experience and good one-on-one when we are bathing our dogs. I even met a new friend so that was pretty awesome. I 100% would recommend this location especially if you are giving the same respect to the employees. There's always room for growth, but for my pass for experiences I have had nothing but kindness and informative information.
