Place is a SCAM! Take your pet elsewhere I am paying for one of their plans whinch include comprehensive exams, heartworm prevention, vaccines, tick/fleas and all that stuff which is about 80 dlls for month. I took my dog for a comprehensive exam and they need to draw blood to check for heartworm. My dog was scared as I am sure a lot of dogs are at the vet so they told me they couldn’t do anything to her and made me buy some 90dlls sedative so they can check her another day. Brought her back and the vet told me the sedative she gave me didn’t work so they couldn’t do anything except doubled the dose and come back again. So I paid again for the medication, today I brought her in for a third time and told me the same thing. Sedative didn’t work and they couldn’t do anything to her, so sent me home with MORE sedatives, which I denied cause at this point it is just ridiculous. They are supposed to be the professionals, my dog is not aggresive she is a big puppy who gets scared, the doctor tried for about 10 min. and quickly send her back. I then asked if she could at least give me the tick and flea medication and said she will not give me that until I bring my dog again for the exam. Like I said SCAM! Just selling sedatives for nothing and not getting what I actually pay for.

0 stars!!!! Hands down the WORST vet we have ever dealt with. The staff is rude, dismissive, and clearly unwilling to do their jobs. They falsely labeled our dog as “extremely aggressive,” which is completely untrue. He has never been aggressive in his life. He is anxious at the vet, like countless dogs, but fear does not equal aggression. They refused to trim his nails because he was supposedly “too aggressive.” You are a veterinary clinic. Handling nervous animals is literally what you’re trained for. Muzzles, harnesses, restraint, these are basic tools of the profession. Instead of using any skill or effort, they simply refused service. We were told to drug our dog with trazodone if we wanted to return. We did exactly that, only for them to once again refuse to trim his nails. So now our dog was unnecessarily medicated for absolutely nothing. Lazy, irresponsible, and incompetent. We’ve taken our dog to other vets with zero issues, anxious but not aggressive, and actually treated like a patient. This clinic slaps the “aggressive” label on animals as an excuse to avoid work. Unprofessional, ineffective, and frankly pathetic. Do not trust this place with your pet.

TLDR: We've been going to Banfield for over 10 years with no issues and now they only care about money, not your pet. I've been taking my cats to Banfield in Central Park for over 10 years. Until recently they have been so good with my cats and treated them like their own. Unfortunately, yesterday negated all the positive experiences I've had over the past decade. A couple of weeks ago I took my cat in for her comprehensive exam. She has kidney disease that we've been managing with diet for the past 6 months when her labs first indicated possible kidney problems. We've also been taking her in for labs every 3 months to keep an eye on her creat levels. A couple weeks ago, Dr. Miller who was very nice, told us her levels were slightly higher again and we changed her diet again and added some supplements to help her kidneys function better. Our kitty is doing great on this diet and loves it. Dr. Miller did want to do her annual dental cleaning, but with some precautions in place due to her kidney disease. So we made appointments for this week. She was supposed to go in yesterday for fluids and today for her labs, fluids, and dental cleaning. I took her in yesterday only to be told by Dr. Rodriguez that they don't do fluids the day before and the other doctor was wrong. She wanted to do a huge pre-procedure work up for my cat that would have cost over $300 that day (I have one of their wellness plans mind you). Then I was informed that my baby also has a lesion on her tooth and that her appointment for today would have to include xrays and an extraction (adding another several hundred to the bill). Then she tried to upsell me to have the tech (who was very sweet btw) add radiographs to my OWP. When I told them I was going to wait because I was actually planning on changing her wellness plan when it renews in January to a higher level plan that includes many of the tests they wanted to do today, she insisted that it doesn't include xrays. Except when I called the number for the OWP the person I talked to said that her new plan will in fact include xrays. So, the doctor was just trying to upsell me when I already told her I couldn't afford all of the things she "needed" to do at the moment. I ended up canceling both appointments and left flustered and feeling very stupid. I will take her back in January when I can pay for an extraction if it is actually needed, but I will not allow Dr. Rodriguez to touch any of my pets. I will continue to go to Banfield because they know my cats well, but any future pets will go to VCA Southeast Area, Olde Towne Animal Meical Center in Longmont, or The Musketeers in Bennett. I will drive out of my way to get care that I know is good rather than go somewhere that only cares about upselling.
