I always tell the employee at the register. The most recent time I asked to speak with a manager. I wanted to know if there was some sort of process for checking expiration dates. They told me that they are directed to just put what they receive on the shelf. And that they even received food at the store that was already out of date before it was put on the shelf. They knowingly stock expired pet food and they knowingly leave expired pet food on the shelf. They knowingly SELL expired pet food.
