I brought my 8 year old American Bully mix in for a second opinion on a growth on his knee. The previous vet claimed it was only a skin tag and that diagnoses just wasn't sitting right with me. A few days before his appointment, I noticed a growth on his tongue as well. Dr. Ripke took my concerns seriously, and had him in for surgery within two weeks. We have at least one more surgery ahead of us, but they have been completely reasonable, and upfront with costs so we know what to expect and can plan accordingly. They have also been very accommodating with his high energy and fear of other dogs, which was an issue with the previous vet as well. They don't push him past his comfort zone which I love. Also one more thing to note, they called to check on him yesterday (his first surgery was yesterday) and again today. I plan to continue to use Horizons for all of my vet needs.

Absolutely love the Veterinarians and techs here. I have 4 cats and 2 dogs. They all go here for check ups, shots, dental procedures, or any time they're sick. Literally my pets primary care doctors.

We brought my dog in yesterday for a physical and her vaccines. She has arthritis too and was prescribed meds. All was good. The doctor was great with her, she took her time to talk to us it was great. We thought we finally found a local vet that we would continue to see and not have to drive to our usual vet in Denver. I got a call today saying I was undercharged for meds. Which is fine. I got online to see how much it should have been for a 30 day support just to see that Horizon charges $42 for 60 pills $38 with auto ship). And they were now trying to charge me $43 for 30 pills. How does that make sense? Why would I be paying double the price? Anyway, when I brought up the pricing discrepancy with the receptionist she seemed disinterested and said she doesn’t make the prices. Which is fair, but also, get me in contact with someone above you then. 🙄 their customer service is lacking. it’s a legitimate concern. People should not be paying double the price for meds when they choose to support your business. Seems like an odd way to gain new long term customers. I’m not sure we’ll be going back now which is a bummer. I don’t like feeling like they’re just going to keep taking advantage.
