  The grooming at this Petco is great unless you deal with the grooming manager Lauren. I got up early to take my dog in for grooming - drive 20 miles to the Southlands Petco only to be told they had no heat. I found out from the manager of the store that this had been going on for several weeks. Lauren was very unapologetic. She booked my dog for the next day. So my husband drove the 20 miles again only to be told we didn’t have an appointment, which she made. She finally did find the appointment and told my husband it would take 5 hours. Normally it is 1.5 hours. So, do the math - drive 20 miles home, wait 5 hours then another 40 going back and forth. 120 miles in 2 days to try and get my dog groomed. She knew we lived a distance but did not care. You would think a good manager would have gotten him done as soon as possible. Lauren offered nothing. I wanted her last name which she also refused to give. This person has no business in “management”. I called the manager of the store which offered nothing either. I am emailing customer relations about this. It is a shame as there are good groomers at this location. They need to either fire or demote their current salon manager. I won’t be taking our dog back there and will make a point of telling my dog owner friends about my 2 experiences. This was ridiculous. Plus who goes several weeks without heat?

  Incase they dont tell you they stop selling reptiles at 830 which by the way is not a store policy. Ive been to petcos that sell until close. I was not told that, they just decide to stop selling them at 830 even though I called 10 minutes before that and told them id be coming in tonight seems like valuable info you would want to tell a customer. Drove pretty far to pick up a specific animal just to be told they won't sell it to me because I arrived 10 minutes after 830. Very disappointed and angry to have wasted my time and gas which is money! It would have been easy just to tell me over the phone and I could have just came in the next day I called ahead of time for this reason! Tried explaining I drove out of the way to come there and Noone informed me they just decide to stop reptile sales before they close employees could care less. Looking at the reviews seems like this is not the first time this has occurred. Never coming back here amd I would not recommend coming to this one seems the employees dont want you there anyway.

  They don't even deserve 1 star this is the 4th time I've gone in there to buy fish and they told me they couldn't sell me any mind you it was 7:30 and according to them they can't sell any fish reptile or animal after 8:30 so I asked them why and they said they couldn't access the paper for adoption it a fish this is bull crap I drove 40 miles one way to get there the staff and managment are lazy and rude as hell they mine as well get rid of anything live because they never can sell it 4 times I've been told they can't sell me them either it's to late or or the can't access adoption paperwork fish don't need.
