After recently loosing our cherished dog I stopped at the store located at 1350 S Ironton St, Aurora, CO 80012. I spoke with a store manager (Lynn) regarding an exception for a return of unopened dog food. She certainly restored my faith in which not all Petco stores are the same. She was understanding and compassionate and made me feel there are some Petco employees who care about pets and their owners and are not just in the business of selling pet supplies. Petco needs more employees like Lynn.

The business itself... Wish places like this were not allowed to sell live animals. Promoting shelter animals by temporarily showcasing them in store is different. But these stores are not properly equipped to care for birds, bunnies, and fish. Neither are their customers. I overheard the store policy on fish. Take one home, kill it, bring it back a water sample and we'll see if we can maybe help you keep the next one alive. Living creatures deserve better.
