    I bought a water dish and cone for my son's new dog he was getting. I shopped early for Christmas, in October, and apparently there is a 30 day return policy. I HAVE THE RECEIPT and it's clear they were not used, but they wouldn't issue a refund or even credit towards another purchase I was going to make. Obviously I didn't make that purchase and won't shop here again.

    Avoid this Petco except for grooming. Grooming is great here. Otherwise, management is inept, oblivious and clearly sees this job as “just working retail”. Items used to be in stock, employees used to be pleasant as well but the store has shifted towards people that have a heartbeat, two feet and with rainbow hair that respond in a manner that is unacceptable in normal life. Open rudeness, bias and whatever these folks have rolling around in their heads that presents to customers, doesn’t belong on a retail sales space.

    Horrible experience with the stores grooming. Had our dogs for 6 hours. We received our girl back shaved in the wrong place and otherwise ignored, and our boy came back looking like he had been groomed by Edward scissor hands. Still had eye boogers. Fur ranging in length for skin level to 2 inches and still matted in the ears and body. Manager claims they worked on him for 5 hours straight and refused to give refund since we need to get him regroomed elsewhere. Avoid this groomer!!!

    I completed a 6 week training class with Cody and he was literally THE BEST! I always thought I could train my dog on my own but there is just too much information online and I didn't know where to start. Cody helped me build on what I did know and break bad habits that I had as an owner. Walks have improved exponentially and continue to improve. He is very knowledgeable as a trainer and I would highly recommend him. I plan on continuing training sessions with him starting again in a group setting.

    I went in on Saturday trying to get a walki-n appointment for the nail trim plus service and was told they didn't have any appointments that day and only one appointment for Sunday at 8 am. I said OK and woke up super early on a Sunday to be there on time. Walked to the door and was told that there wasn't a groomer there. I said OK when are they going to be there or what should I do. She asked if I wanted to speak to her manager. I said yes and the manager came over and said that she just found out that the groomer had called in sick and said that another groomer wasn't going to be there till 10 and they would call and try to get us in. So i left feeling frustrated and with no resolution at all. The groomer did call (which is why they get two stars instead of one) and basically said they were overbooked (which i understood with the other groomer calling out) and didn't think they would be able to get him in until Wednesday at the earliest unless there was a cancelation. Needless to say I'm very frustrated and wish they had done better at the customer service side and offered something better then just a sorry and a maybe. My suggestion is to offer something to someone if you aren't able to call them before the appointment to say you have to cancel. A little bit extra customer service from the manager would have gone a long way to keeping my business. I buy all my dogs food and treats and toys there. I was able to get my dog into another place first thing so looks like we will be going there instead.
