I just transferred to this Banfield from another location which I took my babies to for over 10 years. I transferred here for to terrible experiences at other location. I do have the wellness plan (to all the others that left bad reviews due to pricing, I will tell you the wellness plan pricing is 100% worth it it covers the cost of the visit the shots I pay for medications only so for everybody complaining about the price check out the wellness plan) this Banfield was the cleanest I have ever been in. It is only our first visit but the visit did go very well. The ladies seemed very nice. And as to the one who left a negative review due to them taking their pets behind closed doors to do the shots it's as simple as asking them to do it in the room. So this far they get the five star review and we will be a new permanent family there until they prove otherwise but I was very impressed with the location and the people and just so everybody knows I took in two dogs for full comprehensive exams blood work shots fecal and I walked out of there only pain $23 for a prescription antibiotic for one of my babies so complete entire workup I only paid for the medication so the plan does help it's just like health insurance for human beings when we do a walk-in at a doctor's office without insurance they charges higher rates. I've had these plans for every one of my dogs for decades. The only thing is finding the right Banfield hospital for you and your babies and I believe I found mine

I’ve tried multiple times to get in touch with my dog’s vet, Dr. Huamante, since she recently moved to this Banfield location from another Banfield clinic that closed down. I called this location directly and even had another Banfield call on my behalf. All 3 times I was told that they would speak with the vet and get back to me about a prescription I requested for my dogs. It has now been three weeks since I made the final phone call and I still haven’t received any follow up.
At my last appointment, I was told I could order my dogs Simparica Trio at a later time when I was able to afford it. However, it seems that when you try to do that, they simply don’t follow through. This has been extremely frustrating, especially after paying for heartworm tests recently and carrying Banfield insurance for years.
Between the lack of communication and the fact that this new location is much farther for me, I’m looking into switching vets. After being with Banfield for over a decade I unfortunately cannot recommend this location.

UPDATE: I followed up with them immediately and still haven't heard back after the promised "3-5 business day follow-up". Carolann was atrocious and kept running me around in circles - if you've ever seen Meet the Parents, she's like the airline representative - not customer service, customer disservice. She even went as far as saying the treatment my dog received at the second vet I took him to could harm him. I've never heard of a customer service/marketing rep giving medical advice. My dog's acute symptoms started getting better immediately after the second vet's office treated him with eye ointment and a steroid. Go to a real vet that will treat your animals, not a sales-based circus.

We brought our dog in earlier this week for a rabies shot, as well as concerns for mange and swollen, discharged eyes. Full disclosure, our male Aussie is extremely anxious and can act aggressively when scared, and was therefore muzzled. We were there for an hour, and felt a majority of the appointment was spent trying to be upsold care plans, versus being focused on the acute issues at hand. The vet voiced concerns over allergies, and I actually had to voice my concern that is was mange, which she agreed was a possibility. They offered to do a scrape test, but the vet and I both agreed that he would be treated for the mange with prescription Simparica (which was specifically prescribed for the mange) and felt the scrape procedure would cause more distress when he was already very anxious. They then recommended a $90 anti-itch medication, which we declined because he responds well with otc Benadryl. So he was given the rabies shot, dewormer, prescribed simparica and treated for a potential ear infection. But no treatment was done for the red, discharging, swollen eyes. I called back Wednesday to voice concerns over the lack of treatment for the acute potential eye infection and never received a call back. By Thursday morning, they were urgently worse and we had to take him to another vet, which promptly treated him for a potential eye infection. We reached out to the office manager to notify her of the situation and requested a refund for the $80 office visit, as the acute issue wasn’t addressed and we had to take him to another vet to get appropriate treatment. I then received a call from the manager whom made me feel it was my fault since we declined the $90 itch medication (as we had Benadryl readily available) and refused the scrape procedure (which the vet stated she was preemptively treating with Simparica and the scrape would only further aggravate him). We will never return to a Banfield clinic.

We scheduled an appointment to have a first pet visit with this vet. We have a vet but we were interested in moving because it is super close to our house. We got to the clinic at 2 mins after our appointment time. The lady at the desk was helping another woman and busy so we didn’t approach the desk. The woman was picking up her dog was chatting and whatever and we didn’t think anything of it. Finally the receptionist acknowledges that we are there, goes to check us in… asks if we are new patients. we say yes then she says okay hold on…. Comes back and tells us “well since it’s now 10 after we can not see you today you’ll have to reschedule because youre late and we have new patient forms to fill out.” It took a lot to get our sick cat into a kennel and get there not late to wait patiently for her to stop talking and then say sorry we aren’t seeing you. Seems like if paperwork takes that long maybe we should be filling that stuff out prior to the appointment or be told to come early to do so??? Also let’s work on time management before we turn patients away for our own chat sessions. Left a gross taste in my mouth. We will never come back.

Wish I could give zero stars. I originally made an appointment for my puppy to be seen on 10/19 and scheduled the first visit online for a time that was available that worked with us. I received a call a couple days later that they could not see me on that date and time so we had to push it up a week. I scheduled the next appointment with the office and again they called me to change the time. Both times we were there they were not very friendly, and what I find odd is they take my dog out of the room to give him shots and an exam. I have had pets my entire life and never have I ever had a vet do this.. they tried to make me pay for a first time exam fee. Although it clearly lists on their website. The first exam is free and when I asked about it they made me provide a coupon. Both times I took my puppy there for his shots. They tried to sell me on the wellness fee and we're really pushy about trying to get him to be on heartworm medication. I felt that these visits were more about making money rather than the best interest and focusing on our puppy. I will never ever bring him back to a Banfield again. They clearly do not have his best interest at heart. Their interest is making more money and give you attitude when you don't do it. Highly disappointed in the services we receive both times.
