- TBTammi Barnes6 days ago3.0The grooming in and of itself was excellent, but I feel like all the extra fees they added were deceitful and shady. Their website says $77 for a bath and groom. So I went in expecting this price. Well, I guess my Airedale is considered "long-haired", so that's instantly $10 extra. Then they add $15 for an extra 15 minutes of brushing. Why? they shaved him bald at my request, no need for any extra brushing. Then they add another $15 for scissoring. Why? Oh, in case they missed any random hairs. They literally shaved him bald, no extra hairs to scissor. Oh yes, and then there is a $5.99 materials fee, which I was informed is added to every bath/groom. So what in the hell is the $77 (oh yeah, $87 in my case cause Airedales have long hair??? NO THEY DON"T!!!)? My boy looks amazing, but $122.99 and then they want a tip, which I feel the groomer deserved because she did a great job. I won't go back because none of these fees were mentioned when I checked in and I wasn't expecting to spend that much when I could have gone back to my old groomer for $86 out the door. Just beware, and ask for clarity and transparency before leaving the store. None of this was told to me before I left my boy.
