I scheduled my cat's dental cleaning over a month in advance. They called me last minute to bring him in for labs before his dental procedure. I didn't mind to bring him but the short heads up was a bit frustrating. I then brought him for his scheduled time at 7:15am. They told me he would be done around 3-5pm maybe sooner. I get a call around 12:30pm saying they're behind on cleanings and if I could bring my cat in tomorrow.. I took my day off work for this and planned it far ahead of time. I understand things happen, but don't over book if you can't finish the job. I said no I cannot bring him tomorrow, and all of a sudden they were able to complete his cleaning.

When I bring max in, the Staff greet him by name and show him that he is like family to them. He enjoys going to petsmart and the clinic. Great group of caring people.

Banfield Nightmare: I brought in my two new adopted kitties for the free Banfiel first visit that they offer newly adopted kitties. Banfield had left my neighborhood, where I had routinely bring my elder kitty until he passed away at 19.5 years. I went to a different location where they'd just started being open on Sundays. One of my new kitties was in a cardboard carrier and had torn a big hole in it, trying to escape & scratching me as I was waiting in line. I tried to get immediate help from someone there. After lots of scratching and pleading, someone came out and took him in back while I checked in holding my calm kitty in his indestructible hard case. I went to the exam room and my frantic kitty was not there. I kept asking and they weirdly weren't answering and trying to divert me. Finally, I raised my voice and said where's my other cat. They finally brought him in. He was stuck midway in the hole he'd made in his card board box. They hadn't figured out to rip the box and free him. I did that in the moment. It was like a bad dream where no one could hear me and everyone was moving through honey. The doctor was unpleasant and dismissive of me, scoffed at what I said, asked me the same question 3 times in a row, after I had already addressed it before he even asked! He barely touched or examined my cats then declared everything hunky dory. Then they tried to sell me their Banfield insurance policy/membership. I haven't been back.
