- MVMaria VenegasJan 3, 20261.0Today I tried to buy an algae eater fish, they guy asked how big my tank was and I said 40 gallons, then he said he could only sell me one of them and explained it's one per every 55 gallons. All good there, once he was giving me my fish he caught a different one from the one I was trying to buy, then he said oh no, those are Chinese, these are better, me not knowing anything about fishes I approved. I sent ny husband a picture of the fish and said to return it since those grow pretty big (1 foot) , I went back and read their labels and husband was right. I asked the same guy to return it and to please let me have some of the Chinese ones, he replied "I have to ask my boss how many of those you can have", I waited and he comes back saying he can't sell me any of those because they grow up to 1 foot, (the label said 6") so then I said I've had those before and I know that's not true. At this point his boss/manager comes saying they're not selling any to us. Which makes me question them, how come the guy sold me one that grows up to 1 foot just minutes before? How come their labels for the Chinese one says 6"? It was clear they were just refusing to make business with us, but giving us stupid reasoning. Worst manager ever!
- MPMary PJan 3, 20264.0Visited January 2nd...see my receipt as always. This is the first time I have been to this location. It is in the same shopping center as Walmart and Home Depot. Because I am adopting a rescue pup I still needed more supplies. It's not as big as some of the stores but I did find what I was looking for. I couldn't find any help in the store to help navigate my search. The checkout guy was very helpful which I appreciated ! I think they need to hire more employees! I will probably go to Petsmart next time that is more organized and well staffed.

I just got a $41.00 bag of cat food for free as it was my 7th purchase and also a $10.00 gift certificate. The employees are generally very welcoming and helpful and pricing is on par with the other pet supplies retailers.

A nice experience today at petco, I have never had a bad experience here, but I just like to mention good shopping experiences.
