We've brought our pup here for years. We always get the service we request and it's prompt and well done. Our pup is not the easiest dog (anxiety - yep a doodle), but Kendra is always patient and manages to get him in and out speedily, thus reducing the amount of time he needs to be there for his pampering. And while Kendra is our go-to...all other groomers have also been great.

Just a heads up that the grooming and vet opens at 8 but the store actually opens at 9 on weekdays! So don't do what I did and arrive at 8 for supplies... otherwise the store is okay. I don't like that Petco carries items that are actually harmful to reptiles and employees lack education to properly assist those buying a new reptile without full knowledge. Definitely do your research before purchasing because you'll be directed to buy things that aren't necessary and very harmful to them. For bearded dragons specifically, stay away from the red lights and the calcium sand, heating rocks and reptile carpet. One causes vision issues and the other impaction issues, when swallowed, which can lead to death. Heating rock temps can't be regulated and cause burned bellies and digestion issues. Reptile carpet harbors bacteria and they can get their nails stuck and ripped off trying to get detached. Tiles or paper towels are best for their flooring. You can always add a dig box containing a 70/50 or 50/50 mix of soil and sand (not calcium sand or finely ground sand). You must buy a tube UVB light and NOT the coil uvb. Very important to prevent metabolic bone disorder in bearded dragons. This disorder deforms their bodies for life! It's caused from lack of proper UBV which is essential to their growth and health. Get Reptisun T5 HO 10.0 tube not 5.0. They need a basking bulb as well that should reach certain temps depending on their age. I'd recommend starting with a 40 watt or 75 watt depending on how far away their light fixture will be from their basking spot. You can stack rocks if they need to get closer to the light in order to reach proper temps. Buy Reptisun brand. Also buy your live feeders somewhere else in bulk. They always seem to be dead here. This includes, crickets and dubia roaches which are staple insects they can eat daily. They need a lot of these as babies. They mostly eat insects and some salad at that age. Adults eat mostly salad and with some insects. Great treats that should only be fed about twice a week are horn worms and mealworms/superworms. The size of every insects should only be as big as the measured space between the eyes. Great rule of thumb to prevent tummy aches and indigestion. You must dust insects or salads with calcium powder! Stay away from all other processed crap and only do live feeders and salads! I rescue and rehabilitate bearded dragons and so much of what I see is 100% preventable which proper education. This should start with research as the consumer and education given to pet store employees! Added photos of what you should get. Hope this helps someone!
