Very unprofessional space with a touch of ageism & racism due to lack of compassion, communication, & care. I can see why this hospital is trying to build clientele with the $25 exam deal…..to compensate for their awful customer service at the front . My appointment was from 9:30 to 10:30 and I was left alone in the wait room for over 20 minutes (pass scheduled time) with no one caring to communicate with me that the doctor was running late. I can’t help but think if I was a different age, race &/or class then this would have played out entirely different .
To add insult to injury, I assertively tell the late veterinary that due to (lack of) time , I only want one not both of my fur babies to be seen today. Instead of her listening to me, she inserts “we can see both today” …. Totally ignoring what I just clearly stated … as if she could possibly change my mind. And I politely said “no thank you “. As I’m left waiting again in the room by myself, the receptionist at the front is shouting loudly that I can hear from down the hallway through my closed room “oh she doesn’t want us to see (cats name) today? Just (other cat’s name)?” ….”that’s fine that means we have space to see this patient “ ……therefore implying that it’s my loss while negating their lack of communication and punctuality….about a handful of times as I waited in the room for the paperwork.
For a receptionist to be shouting all this info that I (nor other clients) did not need to hear from down the hallway through a closed room where I waited with two anxious cats was incredibly petty, unprofessional & extremely uncomfortable. Common courtesy towards ALL clients, regardless of age , race & abilities would be highly suggested & a refund for this terrible experience would be greatly appreciated.

I took my pug here for the first time to establish care and get a shot and I was impressed with the professionalism and care I got here.
My dog got a bit anxious and excited (he’s a pug so they love to cuddle but can get jumpy when you touch their ears and stuff lol).
The vet was so gentle and professional and gave me insight into a few things to consider with my little guy.
I also found out as suspected he is a bit older than I was told by the rescue I got him from. That was important to know.
I highly recommend this facility to anyone in Walnut Creek!

Took my brother dog in yesterday for a injured toe and the Visit was amazing. I was running late due to traffic and getting lost, they were kinda enough to still see us. The receptionist was friendly, our vet tech was very nice and the doctor we saw explain everything and was extremely nice. Definitely recommended them.

The facility is easy to find and parking is ample. It is also a very welcoming environment. The staff is friendly. I was able to get a diagnosis and quote for a medium size hematoma in less than an hour on my first visit and only paid $25. I do wish they were more transparent with the pricing and more attentive to educating the client on what is being done and why. I would recommend this place to anyone in the immediate area.
