    We came in tonight to get a first fish for our 8 year old. We were lucky enough to be helped by Erin. She walked us through absolutely everything we needed to know about how to care for a new fish. She even went the extra mile: helping our daughter pick the perfect fish and even giving us life advice about how to approach fish ownership. Thank to Erin’s wonderful service, my daughter left saying that Petco is her favorite store. Thank you Erin and Petco.

    Their hours listed for closing on Saturdays in 9pm. I am in the process of moving and needed cat food as well as some other transitional items. I went at 8:47pm and all the lights were on in the store but the doors were locked. I’d get if there was maybe 3 minutes left until 9pm but 13 minutes is a good time. Not to mention there was another customer standing outside trying to go in to buy things as well. No sign or anything was listed on their door and the other customer and I waited to see if maybe there was a mistake or something wrong. But there was not. No one came and they just decided to close early. Unfortunate because I was going to have a big sale and the other gentleman wanted multiple X-Large bags of kibble as well as other items. Loss of profit for them. Then proceeded to call this morning to have a manager tell me they should have been open until 9pm last night and to his understanding they were and there was no reason to be closed early. He was not there yesterday and did seem very surprised the store was closed because it should not have been. After going on and seeing reviews on here it seems this store has an issue with their employees closing before their listed store hours or being upset when people come in within a certain time frame of when they are getting close to closing. Let’s hope these employees aren’t putting that they are closing at 9 when in reality there is no one there at 8:47! That would be fraud. And who honestly knows how many times this has been done? These are just the times it’s been caught. Was given an 877 number to call and waited for 9 minutes for someone to just pick up and then not say anything. Very disappointed. Do better.

    Came in to return an item that was too large for my pet. Unfortunately, I missed placed my receipt. That information was communicated upfront to Brian the associate who assist me. Brain was able to recall the purchase on 12.24 with my mobile number. However, he proceeded to claim he was unable to return the product because he wasn’t able to find the transaction. Now that seems suspect, he didn’t even offer a store credit and or to search the order via the credit original used. Poor in store customer service and we wonder why people shop online. I’ll Never go back to that location!

    I hadn't shopped at this particular Petco for a while and was pleasantly surprised by the brighter atmosphere. (It had previously felt dark and crowded - probably why I didn't go there!) I found everything I needed and had a very pleasant exchange with Brian, who helped me with a dog tag for my newly adopted Golden Retriever and shared the story of his beloved late dog. Will return for sure!
