The next time I came in to have my dogs groomed. When I went to pay, that same girl walked away from the register that I had walked up to and got the manager who seemed to think I needed help. I said I just wanted to pay for the grooming, which I did. My puppies were not ready yet so I ran another errand. When I came back I went to talk to the manager, whose name was Mike. I told him I would like to resolve the situation because it was uncomfortable walking up to the register and having the clerk walk away. I did not raise my voice, I was not rude, and was really just looking to avoid the situation in the future. Mike didn't care. I know Mike didn't care because he said more than once, "I don't care." He said the employees were the "backbone" of the store. I said that I would not come back because I was uncomfortable. Again, Mike did not care. At this point I used to have my three dogs groomed there but will not go back. Groomers were fine. Other than missing a thing here or there they do a good job; unfortunately, my dogs will not be going there (unless, maybe I get a written apology from the offending staff). I work for a clinic and we would NEVER treat our customers this way.
