    So unprofessional, had an appt at 3pm for my 2 puppies, never got a call, txt or email that they had changed my appt ro 1pm, I log in to check my appt and they decided it was okay to just cancel once i was there.. so rude and unprofessional

    I visited the Petco store at approximately 8:35 PM, aware that closing time was 9:00 PM. Upon entering, staff members rolled their eyes, clearly eager to begin closing procedures. While at the register with my dog food purchase, an elderly woman entered seeking assistance. The cashier, rolled her eyes again, checked her phone, and signaled frustration to her colleague, who responded with a sarcastic smile and thumbs-up. I waited to check out, feeling this behavior was highly unprofessional—especially given my background as a district manager for a large company, where customer service is paramount. I’m raising this as a business concern rather than a personal complaint: customers should never be treated this way. When the cashier finally assisted me, she insisted on a phone number for a Petco account (which I don’t have) and even suggested fabricating one, possibly to meet signup quotas. The transaction felt rushed, ending at 8:50 PM with time to spare. It’s disappointing that staff didn’t promptly help the elderly customer without attitude. As a result, I won’t shop here again and hope this is addressed to prevent losing more business.

    I don’t know why people talk so badly about Petco but I like the environment and The people are always nice and if I have any questions, they always answer it or they will find someone that knows the answer. But this is mainly for like the merchandising side. I just wish there was more seasonal and holiday items!

    Well this has been a long time coming. My experience here was good at first although during one of my Baby's grooming sessions she was not properly attended to and fell off the table breaking her hip and knee in which petco paid for her surgery and also reimbursed us for our mileage since we had to keep driving out of town for her appointments which I am very thankful for BUT fast forward to yesterday (wednesday). Her groomer Taylor (the same one even after the accident yes we stayed with her because it was an accident) was specifically told to do the same service as the very last time (I have receipts) because yes the groomer has told me to give her calming treats BUT I have noticed myself after her being hurt there in her care she does not do so good with both a bath and a hair cut and I personally dont blame my dog thats why we came to an agreement the last service of just cutting her hair and NOT doing the bath In which she did GOOD. SO when it was time to get my baby yesterday she was NOT groomed ONLY washed which I had told the groomer NOT to wash her because she does not like it. (Her groomer had supposedly left so I could not confront her) Her co worker then proceeded to make up excuses saying they have to bathe the animals until I told her I had the PROOF and she apologized saying it was a busy day. Overall I paid $77.00 FOR ONLY A BATH! I waited so long for the manager until I said forget it and paid for it and left because I had an appointment to attend. Sadly I will no longer be coming here anymore and will have to look elsewhere for a new groomer. I am disappointed in the service recieved especially because I specifically told the groomer to begin with the service I wanted. (I also want to mention I have ALWAYS tipped her very good & yesterday was the FIRST time not ever tipping her because of what happened)
