The groomer told me today was not a good day for my dog to get groomed and to come and pick her up. Prior to dropping my dog off, the groomer expressed today was an anxious day for her, but she also mentioned she had cancellations, freeing her up 3.5 hours to work on my dog if she liked. Fast forward to picking up my dog, I saw her tail was shorter, her dew claws were clipped and I thought "Hmmm maybe my dog got scared when she clipped them and that's why she began thrashing." Mind you my dog has never thrashed with a groomer before. This was the first time I've ever gotten a call like this. Then I get to the register to pay and the customer service rep reads the groomer's notes out loud saying "Kenzi was thrashing and being unsafe to finish grooming, why am I not surprised?" This was my first time going to this specific Petco. They disrespected me and my dog. I was charged for a bath, and some spray she put on my dog, which came out to be almost $43, even though what I really needed was a cut. My dog was still damp and was very nervous, literally screaming for me to get her out of the store. By the way, do the dogs get a haircut before or after they get a bath? Anyway, I really want to know what happened because something seems off.
