  Cat treatment for upper respiratory infection was done within 20 minutes. I appreciated the quick info regarding if a guest dog could be infected! Reassurance given. It’s a bit of a trip from my home to the clinic, and I hope one day there could be a closer Monte Vista clinic to my location. Thanks!

  They’ve been caring for my three babies for the past seven years, and they’ve consistently shown compassion and genuine care. What truly stood out was when my girl became very sick and needed emergency surgery for kidney stones. The team kept us updated every step of the way, and that constant communication really helped ease our worries. Now she’s back to her old, sassy self and we couldn’t be more grateful. Thank you, Monte Vista!

  We discovered an abscess on our dog early this morning. We called our normal vet but they were unable to see him today and recommended this pet hospital to us. I called and they were able to get us an urgent visit time for this morning. Upon arrival I didn't even have to text the number because there was already a technician in the parking lot who did was very friendly and checked us in. We waited about another 5 minutes and then came to get my dog. When he was done the vet herself came out and explained what was wrong and what they did addressed a few other questions I had. So was very friendly and didn't make me feel rushed. After paying the pharmacist came out and gave us our meds and we were on our way. We were in and out within 30 minutes. I hope I don't have another emergency with my dog again, but if I do. I wouldn't hesitate to bring either of my dogs here for care.

  I came in with no notice on Sunday with my small dog who was acting loopy/lethargic. The team was so kind and immediately attentive despite having a host of clients to care for. The first veterinarian accurately diagnosed the issue in about 5 seconds just by looking at him. They were able to test, treat, and get us sent home rather quickly. Willy is back to his normal self! I will definitely use their emergency services again in the future.

  Dr. Cassidy at MVSAH is amazing. We have been taking our pets there for years, but our first experience with Dr. Cassidy was in June of 2025. I took our cat in thinking she had been involved in a pretty serious cat fight. Turns out it was a snake bite! Dr. Cassidy was compassionate and explained each step, and why it was needed/recommended, including the fees. She was transferred to Standiford Vet in Modesto where she stayed overnight for treatment, but all follow up care was performed by Dr. Cassidy. We have continued to see her for our cat's health care needs, and with each visit, no matter how large or small, we see her compassion and genuine care for the animals she sees.
