Doctor and entire staff are the very best. I've been with Dr. Barrett for 18 years and during those years I've had to move to Modesto but I drive to Turlock because I trust them with my pet. The girls in front office make scheduling in and out simple and are very polite and professional. Office is always very clean. I wouldn't bring my pets to any other vets office. DR. BARRETT....DON'T EVER RETIRE!!! ;)

This Vet Office has been wonderful with customer service, care, and concern for our two special furry fancy mice, Lucy & Ethyl, our girls. They were recommended by Petco for exotic animals, and I’m so glad we decided to come here. Thank you!

Good working and kind receptionists, but not a good vet clinic.
Ive been going here for years and now think its time to leave this vet. My cat is having an issue with her skin, but they didnt do much testing to figure out what it could be. I've also been here before regarding the same cat but about her stomach a yearrish+ ago and the lady vet accused me of being *sexist* for asking questions since she dismissed my cats enlarged stomach as normal. Im unsure if she still works there, or was a temp, but she was young, short, white woman with longish hair and two braids, but after that incident, Ive been looking for a new vet regardless since it just made me uncomfortable atp. The only Vet Doc here I truly believe does good work is Brandon Barrett DMV.
I have brought the same cat to a different vet and, after doing an ultrasound, figured out she has kidney/stomach issues (due to some sort of scarring/enlargement on the kidneys plus an enlarged stomach) AND is dealing with the skin issue. She is currently being treated, and hopefully with time gets better. I wish I stuck with my gut about knowing something was wrong. If you come here, be ready for how pricey it is and honestly? Just go with Dr. Brandon fr

Don’t bring your pets here. Brought in my dog twice for ear pain/infection, at least we think it’s that. They don’t even look at my dogs ear, just listen to my description of his symptoms and prescribe expensive medication, over 250$ each time. My dogs ear infection hasn’t gone away, neither of the Times I’ve taken him. He scratches so hard he cries and shakes his head constantly. DONT BRING YOUR ANIMAS HERE
