  My sisters took my husky to get evaluated and transferred his prior health records from my original vet. Apparently they gave him every shot that “was needed” and already had every shot except his yearly one. Was brought there for a lump which is either a benign tumor or a malignant tumor; how do I know this?? I researched after my pup past away suddenly a week after Easter. This vet didn’t do any tests. No blood draw. No tissue removal and or anything but give the “recommended shots” that they wanted. Charge for a pet visit check up and any other random charges that totaled up to $1,000 and I’m here to do what I can to spread the word of this terrible worthless and corrupt business… Yes it’s personal. My dog died and this is my first start of redemption. Next is BBB, and review all the negative reviews already established that I seen with similar stories/cases like mine. F this place !!!

  They're always really nice and helpful, and answer questions and take the time to talk to you. I always feel at ease when I go there and my dogs do also

  My boyfriend came with me and already left a review on Yelp, but I figured I’d leave one here as well. It’s a nice clinic. I totally missed the call I got that morning about me needing to reschedule because the vet I was supposed to see called in sick, but the lady at the front desk was very friendly and understanding. She even managed to fit me in it at the same time as originally planned. They didn’t add any surprise costs; I was only charged for the $25 first visit fee and for the medicine my pet needed. I expected to be charged for the flea medicine the vet administered, but I wasn’t, which was very kind. My kitten’s infected eye is already looking much better a day later with the eyedrops prescribed.

  I brought my cat here for a neuter. After picking him up we noticed blood had seeped through his carrier onto the car seat. We were very alarmed as this is not normal after a routine neuter. I called the vet immediately (around 4:30, they close at 6:00) and was told the vet had already left for the day. They tried to reconcile the issue by giving us a discount at their other vet clinic (Monte Vista Small Animal Hospital) for his vaccines. Our experience with their professionalism and customer service was equally disappointing. Very unfortunate as this is the only vet in Turlock (They mange Taylor, Monte Vista, and Community vet). I believe animals deserve the same care and concern people receive in a medical setting or clinic. Clearly these vets are not focused or concerned with quality care.

  Community Vet is outstanding. The staff always goes the extra mile and they treat my dog as if it was their own. I can’t express enough appreciation for their care and customer service. Dr. Barrett and Dr. Bessoff are both so personable and caring. They truly have the patient’s (dog) best interest at heart.
