  My appointment was just canceled because my dog is too old for them, he’s 12 years old and apparently he can have anxiety. So why don’t you have that on your website? There’s no policy saying that 12 years old old dogs aren’t allowed because they can be scared. I guess their staff isn’t trained enough to handle dogs obviously being scared to take a groomed! How disappointing!

  Arrived for our Vetco appointment and stopped by the groomer for a quick nail buff for my Frenchie. When I walked up to the counter, the employee was on a personal call on her cell phone and completely ignored me — she didn’t even acknowledge that I was standing there. Eventually a second employee came over to help, but there was very little effort made to locate my puppy’s profile. She kept asking for vaccination and rabies records. I explained that my dog had been groomed at another Petco location less than two months ago, so the information should already be in the system. Despite that, she didn’t seem interested in helping or trying to look it up. Overall, the customer service was disappointing and unprofessional. I expect staff to at least acknowledge customers and make an effort to assist, especially when the pet has already been serviced at another location within the same company.
