First time dog owner here... what a mistake even considering this location. All the basic necessities that make businesses thrive... this place lacks. Even the basic fundamentals.. communication, information, care. Absolutely mind blown at the our experience. The Jiffy Lube of vets. Do not come here. Invest in your pets safety and future. Source a private vet who cares.

I had a really disappointing experience with Banfield PetSmart Veterinary Clinic. As a first-time puppy owner, I was expecting more guidance and transparency, but that wasn't the case. One of the biggest issues was that they took my puppy, Ollie, into a completely separate room for his exam and vaccinations. I wasn't included in the process or able to see what was being done, which felt uncomfortable and unnecessary. It also made it harder to ask questions or understand how he was handling everything in real time. What stood out even more was the lack of communication and education. The staff didn't take much initiative to explain what they were doing, why certain vaccines were being given, or what I should expect afterward. After Ollie's shots, he experienced soreness, sensitivity when touched, and was clearly uncomfortable--whining and not acting like himself. No one at the clinic gave me a heads-up that these kinds of reactions could happen, which left me worried and unsure if what he was experiencing was normal. As a pet owner, especially with a young puppy, you rely on your vet not just for treatment but for guidance and reassurance. Unfortunately, that piece was missing here. I left feeling uninformed and a bit uneasy about the overall level of care and communication. I hope the clinic can improve by being more transparent during appointments, involving pet owners in the process, and taking the time to educate clients on what to expect--especially after vaccinations.

Very convenient, somewhat dated drop off reception area and great front office personnel. My Last visit was not the usual I am used too. I have a plan but got no communication by the vet; only the tech and I didn’t get a clear answer on what I asked. This is I’m regards to an aging cat. All good but will be looking at other Barnfield’s Pet Hospital in our area. Three stars due to the lack of thorough communication.

If I could rate 0, I would. These people let me and my little buddy down so bad. My cat was sick and constipated for a few days and I took him in and ever since our 1st visit. His decline came faster. 1st visit was triage l. Then second day was for labs. After labs, it was brought to my attention he is diabetic. Given the signs he had when first going in. He was slipping into DKA. The doctor knowing the symptoms presented. Instead of actually addressing his illness they sent me home to only follow up again the next day. The next day I was prescribed special food and sent home for me to follow up again the following day. For treatment all they did was give him IV to help his dehydration. By then my boy was crashing. They made me wait and see. Then next next and final day. I received zero help from them at all. They referred me to VCA because I can get urgent care at a discount with their referral.(Which I never received) As a result of not meeting my urgency, in the end, my little buddy died as he was rapidly declining.
