  Service was ok, staff ok. Check in person wasn't very friendly when we arrived, but the pick-up person was nicer. We took our dog there for the first time after adopting her the week prior & she needed a really good bath! I was hoping to her face hair trimmed and cleaned up but they were unable to do it b/c they had told us that she was too scared. If they are experienced I think they should be able to handle it or distract dog with a treat or something, so was a bit disappointed since I was looking forward to having her completely groomed.

  Savannah is amazing! I've been taking my golden doodle Cranberry to her for grooming since she was a puppy. Cranberry always comes back adorable, happy and ready to receive compliments from the whole neighborhood :)

  I've never experienced such horrible service, especially with regards to my dog. My husband was scolded by the "groomer" for arriving to pick up our dog "early," despite that being the time he was told to arrive. The "groomer," April, abruptly ended the session and told my husband she couldn't finish the job and the dog was "90% done" and she had another appointment to get to, We didn't sign up for an incomplete session nor should we pay for an incomplete session. Our dog's haircut is uneven at best and he looks like he's ready to enlist in the military, which is a far cry from our request to leave his hair as long as possible. April was aggressive with our dog, a terrier poodle mix, and equally aggressive with us. The manager was equally unprofessional and did nothing to rectify the situation. It would seem to me that stylists at Petco have no qualifications or proper training and they'll give anyone who volunteers a set of clippers. My dog was not himself for the rest of the evening and my only suggestion is that this groomer be removed from her position and possibly visit the muzzle section of the store for herself. We will never return to Petco for grooming again. If you care about the treatment towards your dog, you'll do the same.
