Referred to Banfield from a neighbor. At first I was reluctant as they are about 15 miles from my house. They have turned out to be THE BEST VET OFFICE I’ve ever taken Norman to. Actually the best vet I’ve ever visited with any animal. Professional, reasonable, friendly… highly recommend!!!

Originally Banfield was reasonable and service was decent. Three dogs been on or were on the Wellness plan which has turned out to be a huge scam. Biggest complaints..revolving “vets” so often you are repeating over and over …book your appointments with no contact to make sure they get you on wellness plan fees…and the number one problem with them…the upselling of unnecessary services ..worst than an oil change where all of sudden you need every filter and service a vehicle could require..worst at a vet…where most people trust a “pet doctor” and expect honest and necessary treatment…so when you get used to everything being suggested as unnecessary upselling you end up missing something that may be necessary and pet suffers.
I for one would never recommend Banfield to any pet owner. What was a good option has become such a massive disappointment..would rather search for a vet on Craig’s list and take my chances rather than put another pet through this place

Over price for cat Pedi. Servious ended early saying cat was not happy. I was told I had to midicate cat with pain meds. Nope. I just did not want to put my cat through something not needed.

I brought my dog to this location for surgery on January 30, and the staff’s behavior was rude, judgmental, and full of assumptions. I explained my dog’s injury and exactly what happened, but they dismissed me and assumed I had harmed my dog, which is completely false, my dog is my baby, and I would never hurt him.
For follow-up care on February 2, I went to a different location that was professional, friendly, and respectful.
When I called on February 4 about questions regarding my dog’s medication, they argued, contradicted themselves, and lectured me, even though I have healthcare experience and know how to safely administer medication. At one point, they requested pictures of the medication, which felt more like a setup for judgment than support.
Other Banfield locations I’ve visited were professional and respectful, so this experience was an exception. I will be taking my dog elsewhere for proper care.
If you are a dog owner, I would strongly reconsider visiting this location. Customer service and proper care should never come with judgment or condescension.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Since wellness plans are not insurance, they do not include treatment for unpredictable or abnormal conditions, however discounts would apply. Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
• Optimum Wellness Plans® Virtual Visits: If you have an Optimum Wellness Plan and scheduled a Virtual Visit, you’ll save valuable time and get quality care from the comfort of your home.
