I normally go to the Vetco closer to my home, but they did not have an appointment available on the day I needed it. The Santa Clarita location was able to fit me in at the end of the day. It turned out our dear cat had cancer that had spread to his brain and needed euthanizing. The staff there was so supportive and kind to us. They made what can be a very trying experience very peaceful and calm. Highly recommend this location and this vet.

I am extremely disappointed with the care my puppy received at this clinic.
I brought my dog in for an acute eye issue involving redness, inflammation, and the third eyelid after a known chemical exposure. Instead of focusing on diagnosing and treating the current problem, the veterinarian appeared unsure how to proceed and suggested unnecessary blood work and unrelated testing that had nothing to do with the immediate eye concern.
No clear diagnosis, explanation, or treatment plan was provided. I specifically asked whether eye drops were needed to protect my puppy’s eye and reduce inflammation and was told none would be given. I left the appointment with no medication, no actionable guidance, and no confidence that my pet’s eye had been properly evaluated.
Eye issues require timely and focused care. Being dismissed while being encouraged to pay for unrelated tests, and then sent home without treating the actual problem, was frustrating and concerning. I am now seeking care elsewhere to ensure my puppy receives appropriate treatment.
I hope this feedback is taken seriously. Pet owners deserve competent, focused care and clear communication especially for something as delicate and time-sensitive as an eye injury.

Roberto, the manager at the clinic, was incredibly helpful in obtaining blood work results for my dogs. The process wasn't easy and he went out of his way to follow up several times with the lab and other third party vendor knowing the time crunch I was in. Thank you for all your help, Roberto!
