  Friendly efficient staff made everything smooth in and out very quickly. The reason I gave them a star less because they didn’t explain the most important detail to get Rabies vaccine certificates online. I have made so many phone calls nobody knew. Finally I figured out myself needed login on PETCO website to download the certificate. Anyway I got everything done for my little Chihuahua JJ for his license renewal.

  The cashier sold me on a Total Vetco pet insurance and said they would be opening up a site in their Santa Rosa store very soon, but in the meantime time, I could take my pet to Vetco in Petaluma. So its been years now, they finished construction well over a year ago, and they can't find a Vet for the life of them. They told me the Vet would be paid really well too(I guess not well enough). I don't understand how they can't find a single Vet to work there, are they not trying hard? I could find them one within a month if I got paid well for it, either way, I am very displeased because of the promise of a Vet near me and signing me up for something I have been stuck paying for a very long time on top of being stuck taking the fur babies to Petaluma, and all 3 of them hate car rides, let alone 35 minute rides each way without traffic. The cats scream the whole way there, and the dog whines and stresses the whole time pacing back and fourth shedding his fur all over. I am still waiting Santa Rosa Vetco! Get off your butts and actually really advertise! Time to fire the person in charge of looking for a Vet, or hire a good headhunter, it's not hard, it's a good decent location. 2 stars because of the perks of credits to buy pet food, etc. so it's a little cheaper than buying elsewhere online for the type of food my sick babies need.

  The wellness exam did not take temperature. I requested and made an appointment for a rabies booster and a heartworm test. The heartworm test was never done.
