  I went yesterday and they treated my Rocko baby so well, I really appreciate their tender love and care for him!

  1st time and NEVER GOING Back. My appointment was for 3:30 pm. The online directions took me the Polar Route where there are many stop lights. I would've come a completely different way but I'm new to the area. I've been to Hwy 12 where the office is using a much quieter streets before. I got lost because it was super sunny, their sign is under a big tree, that clearly showed the shadows of the leaves on the shiny sign, directly above it, but not the sign. The print is fine and some is in cursive. So I went to the next traffic light on Hwy 12 and made a U-Turn and called them, at 3:32 pm, telling them I was lost. The girl at the desk didn't know how to explain exactly where they are located! I figured it out on my own. That was at least 5 mins. I also informed them that I have a really bad back and that I'd need help bringing my cat in. I get to the location and IT'S real HILLY! I have a super bad back. I called when I got there for help. Like I said I would. The woman was a snippy because she can't multitask. So I waited and waited for the help but no one came so I inched my way to the front door. She hadn't sent anyone. It was SCORCHING HOT, & I don't have A/C in my car so I had to walk up the hill to get to the front door. When I looked up the location after realizing I'd chosen the wrong Vet, and I was right, it did not reflect that the main parking area is down a big huge drop! Idiots in big mud trucks take up the 5 prkg spots, & 1/2, right in front of the entrance. So I registered at @ 3:15 pm and waited at 4:00pm the old woman at the desk was yelling the one who registered me that she shouldn't have. Then she called me over to tell me I was 1/2 late. Oh no I wasn't! If the woman on the phone would've know how to give directions , if they had sent someone to help me bring my cat up, if I hadn't had to wait to get checked in, and then for her to chit chat and reprimand the girl. I would've been there by 3:40 pm. So, I wasted Time, Gasoline, got my car all upset by going...! Their ad on line bumped up to the a few spots so that i.coyldnt find the Vet I really wanted to take my cat to also. Losers and rude. That ASSERTIVE nasty tone I got from the old woman, I can't stand. They don't deserve my cats business.

  They have been our family vet for years, and have consistently provided excellent care for our cats. They are very busy so don't expect a same day visit, but if you have a pressing matter, they will do their best to get you in as quickly as possible. They have gotten our cats through urgent surgery, wound care, kidney failure, you name it. They even helped our 16 year old cat transition peacefully to the other side when she was in pain. Throughout it all they have provided compassionate care, taken the time to ease any concerns, and given multiple treatment options when finances were tight. I highly recommend them.

  I have a 4 month old puppy that has a bad cough so I scheduled a appointment the day prior and when I get here for my appointment I am told that they didn’t have anyone to see him but I could come tomorrow. Not a phone call or notice very unprofessional. Would not recommend them to anyone ever.

  I was told by the staff their online RX is competitive with regular pharmacy prices. My dog's RX would have been nearly TRIPLE the price of CVS if I had actually used Montecito vet's online RX. $16 @ CVS or $43 @ Montecito vet's online system. This RX will be refilled monthly so I'm very glad I compared prices. As the saying goes "buyer beware".
