    Very disappointed and heartbroken. I am disgusted by your pet ownership policies... Set up an appointment with my animal that had a pre-existing profile, brought him in, and dropped him off only to be called back an hour later saying they couldn't treat him due to ownership legal policy. My mother was the previous owner and unable to give consent due to illness. Gave them the license and previous vet records from Banfield Pet Hospital, and still wasn't enough to care about treatment for my sick cat. The stress of transporting him made his symptoms worse.... I wish I was told about this policy sooner instead of being misled and assured everything would be ok only for my animal's health to worsen. A complete waste of my time and unnecessary stress. Do better Banfield pet hospital.

    I have been unable to get flea medication because they said my dog needs her comprehensive exam first. I go online and make an appt and state in the comments I would like her medication ready that day. I drop her off and I said the same thing. I was told she'll be ready to be picked up in 2-3 hours. At hour 4 I call and they tell me, no one should've told you that. She'll be ready in another hour. OK, fine. Will the medication be ready when I pick her up? "We no longer carry that medication, you'll need an outside vendor to order it". THEN WHY DID I GET THE EXAM! I go to cancel Banfield after 13 years, I get charged the difference of the visit and what I've paid into the plan so far this year. To say I'm pissed is an understatement. This used to be a great company. I can't remember the last time my dog has had an appointment and I've actually talked to the vet.

    After 6 years with this hospital for my pitbull I can safely say they are the sweetest. Dr. Weiss & Dr Chatcuff have treated my boy with so much love and kindness. Jennifer, Katie, and all the vet techs (so sorry I never catch your names) are so so so sweet and so caring. It’s so hard to find a vet office that you can trust because clearly our animals can’t speak and tell us how they were treated.. but when I took my dog in we were the last patient of the day, and the entire staff was laughing playing and loving to my boy. Couldn’t be more grateful, he fell asleep the second he got home, he had so much fun! Thank you!

    Tried to give this place a chance since I live in Santa Rosa however I wish I had just sticked with rohnert park, went for just one vaccination and they wouldn’t see my dog saying he was sick when I explained he has been having these issues for a while they didn’t listen look at his previous records or anything they said he sounded sick and couldn’t be seen after I had talked with them the day of the scheduling about talking to a doctor with these specific concerns however I don’t think the lady I was speaking with put it in the notes which is fine but they called me asking if it was okay that the doctor was gone and if the tech could administer the vaccination if I was willing if not they would have rescheduled with a doctor I said can I just get the vaccine and rescheduled for a check up with the doctor to talk they said it was fine then I came in tried asking when the doctor might be back in and explaining why I’d like to talk to him they said that he couldn’t be seen and wasted my time.
