- RTRenee Torres2 days ago1.0I had an appointment at 5:40 PM at the Vetco on El Camino and arrived around 5:45 PM with my dog and two children. The moment I walked in, I was immediately canceled and turned away. No grace, no empathy, no attempt to help. The vet tech Stephanie was extremely firm, rude, and dismissive. She claimed I was required to arrive 10 minutes early, yet there were still other customers actively being seen ahead of us. They don’t even close until 6:00 PM, which made it very clear that I was pushed out so they could wrap up and leave on time. What made this even worse was that another staff member was willing to take us in but was told not to, and she actually apologized to me because of how the situation was handled by Stephanie. That alone says everything. This was an absolute waste of my time and completely unacceptable customer service. Especially for a veterinary clinic where people come with pets and children. I made the effort to show up, only to be denied service on the spot without compassion or professionalism. This is hands down the worst customer service I have ever experienced at a vet. I will never return, and I do not recommend this location to anyone. One star is too generous—this place deserves zero stars for how this was handled.

Truly made up for my prior bad experience with another vetco vet. I will definitely seek out coming to vetco again for this vet.
