- CSCynthia StoddardJun 19, 20252.0I had an appointment for 11:40 a.m. on Sunday 6/8 for a Lepto shot for my dog at the Santa Barbara Petco I had to wait in line for almost 90 minutes! I don't know what the problem was as there were not THAT many people in line. Disorganization on the part of the staff? I'm not sure. The vet was chatting away with people and taking his time. That was not a good thing when you have a long long line. It was the worst experience and I am not likely to use Vetco again because it was so awful. I am a senior citizen and standing for that long holding my 13 lb. dog (because she is reactive to other dogs) was very very unpleasant. Please ask your people to be more organized. And DO NOT overbook as this may be what happened. You have a lot of room for improvement. I have 3 dogs and would be a loyal Vetco user but I'm afraid to ever try you again due to my experience.
