- MAMahnoosh ADec 12, 20251.0We have been a regular customer here. Recently, I picked up my sweet young dog from grooming here and saw that a new employee had given him a haircut. He was very tired and unwilling to jump into the car after. I thought he’s just being stubborn. We got home and he could not jump out of the car either. I realized he keeps taking deep breaths and is whimpering to the extent that I thought there’s something wrong with his lungs. Took him to the emergency room. The vet told me that he has hurt his back hips because he probably jumped off a very high spot or something similar. Given that my dog was completely healthy when I dropped him off at Petco that morning, I can only think that he was left unsecured on the grooming table and jumped off, and that’s the most benign explanation. He’s on strong painkillers for a few days now and still not able to use his back legs properly. I am so mad.
