- CBCherry BushOct 12, 20251.0A couple of weeks ago I received a text message from Mark asking me if he could substitute a doggy treat for an order they were short of that I ordered online. I was able to order something else and picked it up the following Sunday. Everyone was so kind and helpful that I called the next day and thanked them for their service. Today was totally different starting with the rude girl who didn’t seem to know about the amount of days I had to pick up my order. When I called to confirm my order, I gave her my name, but after putting me on hold for 6 minutes to find out how many days I had before the order was cancelled ( I told her 4 days) , she came back on the phone and told me I had 4 days to pick up my order or they were going to cancel it. Her tone was very rude and when I asked her to take my name to confirm that my order was still there ( my email said I had 2 days left ) she told me “ I already know your name because you told me numerous times “ as if she was annoyed with me. I have a Petco closer to me but I choose San Pedro because of my last experience. I was so nervous about losing my order after speaking with the manager who didn’t seem to empathize with my frustration that I went to the location and picked my order up this evening. This is a example of how it’s not the business, it’s who’s running the business. Consistency matters! I guess I will just go to the Petco closest to me.
