  This clinic demonstrated a concerning level of disorganization, even with something as basic as scheduling an appointment. My dog’s appointment was declined without any communication to me. When I arrived at the clinic, I was told there was no appointment on file, as if the error was mine. Only after further investigation did staff acknowledge that the appointment had in fact been declined on their end. Additionally, I had called ahead to ask about the cost of a 20mg Cytopoint injection and specifically confirmed—multiple times—that the quoted estimate included all fees, taxes, and material disposal costs. I was very clearly told yes. However, when I arrived in person, the estimate was higher than what I had been quoted over the phone. Earlier, the receptionist had mentioned that they might be able to squeeze us in despite the scheduling issue. However, once it became clear that this was my first visit and that I was using a new-client free coupon, her demeanor noticeably changed, and I was told they could no longer accommodate us—despite the initial mistake being on their end. Overall, the lack of communication, inconsistent information, and unprofessional handling of the situation made this a very frustrating experience.

  These are just photos I have taken the last several years. Harley is my dog’s name. She was a sad little dog in her cage at the dog shelter. She had been there 9 months.. I took her home and she was so excited and happy. I’ll always remember how sad she was in her cage.

  Worked with Dr. Valdez to evaluate my orange foster boy, and she was fantastic. Fully understanding of the situation once I explained his history leading up to him ending up with me, super kind and caring to him. We still have follow ups to evaluate new medication, but I've every confidence in Dr. Valdez to help get us on the right path to recovery. I would recommend this location and specifically this doctor any day.

  Definitely one of the best Banfield locations in the Bay Area. The staff are very sweet and courteous. They follow up diligently after every appointment. They even proactively call when one’s pet is nearing their vaccinations date. I have been to this banfield several times in the last few years and I can categorically say that they offer the best services when it comes to one’s fur baby.
