- CCCharlieFeb 9, 20261.0This practice should have its license revoked. My vet was out of town, so I made an appointment with Burbank for the vet to check a growth on my dog's chest. The vet looked at the growth, and without any pathology test, claimed it was malignant and quoted almost $3,000 to remove it. When I got home, I realized they hadn't given me a printout of the medical evaluation. I called Burbank and asked them to email me the vet's evaluation. I received a barely readable handwritten note claiming my dog had cancer on its thigh (which it did not). I asked them to send a typed copy for the correct dog. One month later I still haven't received anything. I took my dog to another vet where they did a cytology test that showed the growth is a histiocytoma, which will resolve on its own. It does not require surgery. Burbank is a disgrace.

They have been very compassionate and sensitive to us as pet owners when we've brought our sick/injured animals (two dogs, three cats and one sick pet rat) in for treatment. And their fees are quite reasonable. I don't have anything negative to say about their clinic. They are just great!
