Spend the extra money and go to a real vet.
Going to Vetco is like going to SportClips for a haircut — but instead of a bad haircut that grows back, you’re risking your animal’s health and well-being.
This location only cares about taking your money; they show no real concern for your pet’s care. I took my dog in for an eye infection and was prescribed antibiotics without any testing or examination — in and out in five minutes and $150 paid.
Weeks later, my dog’s condition had worsened. When I went to another Vetco location for an emergency, that vet told me it was negligent to prescribe antibiotics without running tests first, as it can lead to antibiotic resistance.
When I reached out to the manager of this Vetco location, I received zero resolution, zero sympathy, and zero care.
Do yourself, your pet, and your wallet a favor — find a real veterinary practice that actually cares about your animal’s health.

Dr.Biggs is our Veterinarian at Vetco on friars road. He Has been caring for my 14 year-old beagle and I highly recommend seeing him!!
He is professional, Very gentle and kind, and the most Compassionate Vet my Dog has seen through her entire lifetime! He is so knowledgeable and conservative. We are always seen immediately with the best of care with the entire staff. I find this Facility Very cost-effective. We plan to continue seeing Dr. Biggs through out my dogs entire lifetime.
I can’t thank Doctor Biggs And Vetco enough!

I am very disappointed with the service and subsequent billing from this chain vet. During my initial visit at a different location, the doctor failed to perform the essential diagnostic step: checking for a ruptured eardrum before prescribing ear drops which would be contraindicated if eardrum is not intact. This crucial misstep meant I had to return for a second, unnecessary visit just to correct their mistake.
To avoid the clinic that made the error, I went to another Vetco location for the follow-up. I had a coupon for first visit which saved me $90 (so my bill was $125. still -so expensive!) for the initial visit and was then unjustly charged a full $90 for the quick check-up visit at this location, which was required solely due to the chain's prior clinical oversight. Charging a customer to fix a clinic error is unprofessional, and it makes the original "coupon" feel like a scam rather than a good deal.
