Dr King and his nurse were both very concerned and Were very thorough with their examination. I really enjoy coming here today. It was my first time with my friends. Cat

Very unprofessional. Waited over 30 minutes to be seen. They know my dog is contagious with kennel cough as I told them, and had us waiting in the lobby near other dogs.

I’ve had nothing but good experiences so far bringing my pup here since March, they are so kind and patient and will answer any questions you may have regarding anything! The only problem I’ve had that makes my rating not a 5 was a pickup vet visit, where I wasn’t communicated what time I needed to pick my puppy up when dropping him off, and they told me after I called at 12:30 that it was 12PM. My pup loves the people there though so they’re doing something right! I would say if you have insurance the price is reasonable but without it, it could be quite pricey as expected.

March 2nd I had a very disappointing experience at Banfield on Murphy Canyon Road. I dropped off my two dogs and was told by the doctor they would be ready around 4 PM. When I arrived to pick them up, I stood at the front desk waiting for assistance for over 20 minutes. There was no line. During that time, an employee named Valeria was sitting down on her phone instead of helping customers. Valeria clearly saw me standing there but did not acknowledge me or ask if I needed assistance. I eventually had to approach her myself. When Valeria finally helped me, Valeria took an excessive amount of time even though my dogs were supposed to already be ready. Valeria had a rude attitude and was trying to act smart with me. At one point, while I was calling my daughter to let her know I had been waiting for 20 minutes, Valeria asked me who I was talking to …which was completely inappropriate and unprofessional. In total, I ended up waiting nearly an hour for dogs that were supposed to be ready. I have never encountered behavior like this at Banfield before. After I got home, I received a call from Banfield it was Valeria. Instead of resolving anything professionally, Valeria called me in what felt like an attempt to argue. She said, “I know you had concerns waiting outside,” in a tone that felt confrontational rather than helpful. I hung up. Valeria then called again, which felt like harassment and intimidation. I asked Valeria if she was harassing me and ended the call. She did not call again after that. If this is how employees are representing the clinic, it is very concerning. Valeria should not be working in a customer-facing position if she is not willing to do her job and remains on her phone instead of assisting clients. This behavior from Valeria is unacceptable and extremely unprofessional.

I think Murphy Canyon Banfield is my favorite. Dr. Daniel loves and knows dachshunds and that makes a difference since they are prone to back problems. I wish she were there more than once a week!
