- MWMichael W.Sep 12, 20254.0Petco in the Pocket area is not very big compared to most Petco stores in the Sacramento area. I think this one was a Petco Express before. It carries less stuff than the other Petco, but the good thing is I can still find what I'm looking for. The employees are friendly. The parking lot is very busy in the section in front of the store, but this parking lot itself is huge, with many available spots for a short walk.

I like that it’s convenient, but often I need to go to a larger pet store to get a specific type of food for my dog, since this location just doesn’t have room to stock a big variety or various size options, etc. The employees I’ve encountered have been friendly and helpful, and will help with doing price matches from Petco’s website if the in-store price is higher.

She treated me with so much respect and totally made me feel invited, while being knowledgeable about what type of foods I should feed my precious doggie. She does dog training too and I would 100% trust her with my doggies! Overall amazing experience. Kind of small tho.
