- JSJesse SpeerFeb 2, 20261.0While the staff are friendly and care for your pet in the requested manner, none of them are clued up on Vetco policy. I have been misinformed, misdirected, and all around inconvenienced by Vetco’s terrible training (or lack thereof). It turns out that all of these vets and technicians are third-party contractors that are tuned into the modern gig economy. They jump on an app, sign up for a Vetco clinic, rock up, misinform you, and collect their paycheck. Vetco should be ashamed of how terrible this service is. I recommend everybody to stick to small-time, family-owned veterinary services. Vetco is trying to capture a market that they are too inexperienced to contribute to in any sort of competent way. I have only stuck with Vetco this long because all of my pets records were with them—but I’d rather go through the hassle of finding a new vet, and having everything transferred over, than ever deal with this sort of service again. BYEEE! Also… if it matters to you, Petco is a right-leaning company that fiscally contributes to our countries polarizing, hate-filled politics. Choose PetSmart for all your furry friend needs.
