So disappointed with the service. My dog was misdiagnosed and had to take her to ER to find out she has brain issue, tumor. Which is already too late we took our dog to this vet since 2 Thursday ago and again last Friday with no resolution spent over 500 . My dog is in a bad state and reached out to Riverside hospital to not get a response not even a sorry. This is our family, our dog is everything to us and for the vet dr to not look at it as such is really dishartening. You are vet to care for our fur babies and help us. Not to look at them as a transaction. So sad . Now we are all heart broken and here loving on our baby in her last days.i trusted you with my baby and this is what we got. Thank you Riverside Animal Hospital for misdiagnosing Leila and taking our money.

My dog was scheduled to be spayed on 10/10/25. However, he was accidentally given a dog treat later in the evening. Afraid that he would aspirate during surgery, I called the animal hospital and left a message requesting a return call. At 9 a.m. when I didn’t hear from them, I called and was put on hold for 9 minutes. Long story short, the person that answered the phone wouldn’t speak to me and kept forwarding me to voicemail. I went to the office and arrived at 9:22 a.m. and requested to speak to the doctor. When they asked why, I told them I wanted to speak to him about the poor customer service I received by his staff. It’s now 10:55 a.m. and I have to wait until 11:20a.m. to actually speak to him. In addition, he will probably charge me for his valuable time as my time has no value. DO NOT BRING YOUR ANIMALS TO THIS UNPROFESSIONAL BUSINESS BECAUSE IF THEY TREAT THEIR CUSTOMERS WITH SUCH GROSS DISRESPECT, HOW DO YOU THINK THEY WILL TREAT YOUR FUR BABIES ONCE YOU’RE OUT OF SIGHT?

I would not recommend leaving your cats in their care. I arrived at 8:00am for emergency drop-off and was the first and only one there. Two hours later, I received a call saying they needed me to return to sign sedation paperwork because my cat was “restless” and they were unable to examine her. I was still parked outside, so I went back in and signed it at 10:00am. Hours passed with no updates, so I called. They told me she still had not been sedated. Later, the vet called only to repeat what the receptionist had already said — that they couldn’t examine her and planned to sedate her. I explained that the paperwork was already signed and they could proceed. Throughout the day I kept being told she was “next,” yet nothing ever happened. At 4:00pm, I finally got a call that they were able to sedate her. When I was told to pick her up at 5:45pm, I expected results or at least some kind of exam. Instead, the vet told me that the sedation “did not work” and they were not able to examine her at all. What didn’t make sense is that my cat was completely alert and playful when they brought her out, even though they said she had been sedated. They also commented that she was “bigger than expected,” even though earlier in the day they told me they had already taken her out, tried to examine her, and that she had escaped from their hands. If that was true, they should have known her size before giving any medication. They didn’t even weigh her, which is extremely concerning. I took her in at 8:00am and picked her up at 5:45pm with absolutely no exam, no answers, and nothing accomplished. My cat spent the entire day stressed for no reason, and I still had to pay $250. If they are unable to handle cats, they should be honest so pet owners can seek help elsewhere. If this had been something serious, those delays could have made a difference. This was a very disappointing and stressful experience for both me and my cat, and I would not trust them with her care again.

A long overdue review but I think people should know about this. I went to get my dog vaccinations at this place a year ago. Dr Estrada walked in very rudely. She had a cold face and she was sick with a nasty cough. She coughed in my face and didn’t cover her mouth at all. It was disgusting behavior. My dog is a nervous dog and wanted to bite when she grabbed her ear to take a look inside (My dog is a small maltipoo who I I mentioned in the paperwork is a nervous dog) She looked so mad when my dog tried to nip. (understandably but sometimes that’s what dogs do) and I said I can grab the ear so you can see inside and she just looked at me and said I already saw with such an attitude. I don’t know who these people are meeting or if dr.estrada chooses who to be nice to or not. She has to be one of the rudest vets I have ever came across. I don’t know why she even works with animals if she gets so irritated. She also needs to learn how to cover her mouth when she coughs.
