YOUR DOGS WELLBEING DESERVES BETTER THAN THIS PLACE (Last pic is for reference of how he came in) Appointment was at 230 didn’t get a text to pick him up until 535 When I came in I wasn’t even speaking w the stylist (Allie) the information on how I wanted the cut was relayed to her by the person that checked me in. Apparently if it’s been over 2 months they don’t keep notes on the last haircut? When I came to pick him up my paperwork was just at the front grooming desk w no one there.. I waited a bit but no one came out so per PETCO rules I went to pay it up at the front check out , in hindsight I should’ve waited to see my boy but I had faith. After I paid and tipped I went to get him and almost had a heart attack when I saw the obvious chop job the groomer did. It wasn’t just that it was short it was that it looked like someone just carelessly shaved and clipped my boy wearing a blindfold. I was too stunned to really say anything in the shop so I called to speak to a manager. Very little customer care or service was put into the phone call. Miss Noise answered and basically said that it wasn’t their fault and that since the previous haircut was so long ago they had no way of having his old record… and then try to blame it on me, super unprofessional it was only in August AGAIN poor job on stylist part for not entering any information. When we got back he was also overly thirsty (understandable since they had him for over 3 hours) and shaking in the car on the way home. I’m super disappointed in you guys, this makes me highly reconsider being a PETCO premier member and finding a place that actually values a pets wellbeing. Update 2 hours after the appointment he’s still not back to his normal happy self. You guys broke my heart this is the crappiest feeling

HOWEVER...when I first began bringing my dog to Petco for grooming, it only took about an hour or so; I usually simply went to get coffee somewhere and read a book until she was done. But a couple of years ago you began taking much longer -- sometimes as long as 4 hours -- which can only mean that dogs are being left in crates for long periods. The only reason for this must be over-booking, to make more money for Petco -- bad for our dogs! I'm going to look for somewhere that puts our pets over profits.
- MSMelisa SimoAug 9, 20255.0I realized I forgot to leave a review for Allie! I travel for work and took my newly adopted dog Albie in for grooming a few months ago. She did a FANTASTIC job and I'm very sad I'm not in the area to keep visiting her. He's a good dog, just very wiggly, and she managed to do a perfect trim on him. Since taking him to be groomed in other places around the country, I've realized how skilled she is. The price is good too. Remember to tip!
