- BBbuddacafeDec 28, 20251.0The date is 12/26/25. My first time in Petco; looking to buy my first fish tank (set) experience. If stereotype is a word, it happened to me there. I was dressed presentable, clean cut, wearing a shirt that rocked the United States Marines on the back of my shirt. I looked to inquire about many questions about the fish department. I found THREE employees huddled in conversation. I walked up, patiently waited until their discussion was done. And when they broke off and walked away fast, I said, "hey guys" I have a question. "I just need a measuring tape in witch the young girl took it upon herself to immediately say, "we don't have tape". All three of them look at me and one by one. Continued to talk way. One said, "I clocked out". Another said, " I have another customer". The third said, " I'm on lunch". I replied, "no worries guys, forget about me". It gets worse. As I was in the fish tank area, they sent one employee to scout and keep an eye on me. The youngest employee to watch me. To pretend that she's shopping around. I would assume, that in watching their security cameras, they realized that I'm legit. I took it upon myself to ask for help and lord and behold, the manager was one of the TRIO. Apology is not accepted. Despite her helping me after the fact. At the end of the day, I walked out of Petco with purchasing over $110 of products. This is Hueneme. Not Kansas. ..... what in the living hell? If you don't believe me, watch the security cameras. This was not cool.

- LMLisa MurrayNov 6, 20251.0I took my dog to get a nail trim and the groomer trimmed one of his nails and made it bleed. They also talked to me like I didn't know anything. When the groomer made my dog bleed he Yelped and the groomer pulled on him to stop yelping. The groomer was also grabbing my dogs front legs the wrong way after I explained that my dog is older and you can't just grab his front legs and trim the nails you need to be gentle and take it easy with him. It didn't matter he grabbed each paw hard and my dog yelped again. I will not be taking my dog their again.
