- JLJelena LacyJan 30, 20261.0I’m extremely disappointed with their customer service. We have been bringing our pets to Diablo View for about 15 years. Unfortunately, the front desk experience has gone downhill, not sure if there is a change in ownership or management but we will be taking our pets to a place that shows more care and accountability. Kristin at the front desk is very rude and lacked any compassion, unacceptable considering she is a supervisor. I understand staffing issues happen, but that’s never an excuse to be disrespectful and not take accountability after repeatedly dropping the ball.
- MMMIKE MAGADDINOJan 17, 20261.0I'm not one to leave reviews, but I was so disappointed in this vet after last Friday. My dog had been missing since Christmas. Miraculously, she found her own way home after 15 days. She was emaciated, covered in ticks, and had a bad limp. I brought her immediately to OUR vet. Yes, this was our vet. I carried her in and asked for help. I was coldly told that they couldn't help me. I was so confounded that I literally put my dog in the car and came back inside to make sure I was hearing them right. If I can't count on you in a time of need, why are you a vet? This place has forever lost my business, but I can tell you who earned it, VEG ER on Contra Costa. They took me right in, literally laid on the floor with me removing ticks for a 1.5 hours. We got X-rays and determined that our dog had a broken femur in multiple places. They took blood work and even connected me with a great surgeon (Maverick Veterinary in Concord) for her amputation. In some ways, I'm happy that this happened because it allowed me to find vets with more compassion and professionalism.

They immediately gave him eye drops to induce vomiting. Staff for all very friendly and made me feel comfortable that my dog would be getting the best care possible. They kept him under observation for about 6 hours. Great experience, highly recommend Diablo View Vet.

The doctors and staff are compassionate, patient, and truly understanding. They took the time to answer all our questions, ensuring our cat, Oakypaw, was as comfortable as possible. The pricing was also very reasonable, which was such a relief during this emotional time. I’m forever grateful for the care and kindness they’ve shown to our family over the years. I will always trust them with all of our animals.
