I got there with no one at the counter, finally found the “manager”. He said he was on lunch and I should just wait. Really? I said I don’t want to wait, he waived his had to shoo me away. Tried to talk to Wendy another employee and she just said I should call customer service. Funny, no one could give me a corporate number. I’ve talked to their corporate and conversation continues tomorrow. This place is beyond awful. This used to be my local store. Other than documenting for this case, I’ll never go back.

Moved to Palm Springs this summer and have the worst experience with their grooming department. Rescheduled appointments, canceled appointments, shoody grooming. Called to speak with a manager today who told me they fired their grooming manager and they have essentially no groomers on staff. Do not use. Canceled my membership. Hope this reaches the right team in corporate who can support.

I found a dog bed placed in a section with a different price, but instead of handling it professionally, the manager, Tylor, was rude and dismissive. Mistakes can happen, but the way he spoke to me was completely uncalled for. I’ve always liked Petco, but this visit really changed my opinion. I hope they train their staff better on how to treat customers with respect.

I’m hoping it’s a one off issue for a bad day, but definitely night and day compared to any interaction I’ve had at small and large pet supply stores. Superiority complex in some of the employees is a bit irritating and somewhat inconvenient; I walked in to get dog food and on checkout I’m met with a mean mug from the dude asking what they can do for me, then proceeding to tell me to go to the back then gloating at my visual confusion. Brother I was just there for dog food, not to feed a high school mean girl superiority complex.
