take advantage of the customer service satisfaction survey from Banfield after pick up, which Corporate usually sends. don't want to do it but we will report how enbarrassingly rude the girl was at the front desk. was so shocked at it, much as their lack of friendliness and good communication. (please) choose a different Banfield, who smile and act like they care about animals, and don't mind you being there. there's not many such locations but they do exist. speaking of Corporate hopefully Banfield won't become that too much. surprising she's even allowed to work there. 'she' wasn't wearing a name tag and we were too intimidated to ask her name. her mood seemed to however fluctuate. when she took our fur baby back for a split second she might have had a tone of niceness. after reading the other detractive reviews there's other reasons to not return to this Banfield location. don't be baited into an argument. it's like that's what they're trying to do when they are that disorganized, negative and contrary. we were doubly surprised at it as a woman we talked to on the phone a couple days earlier was polite. not this larger younger woman. Thercis no Love at this Banfield. just walk on and be happy. remember it's the Season to be grateful if you have a job.

My dog was brought here last July from Petsmart Hotel, we are out of town and Mason got sick while he was at the hotel.
I am giving them a 1 star because they dont reply to my insurance email to get the SOAP notes while Mason is hospitalized, the reason why my bill has not been reimbursed yet. I tried to call them multiple times but it just goes to voicemail and emergency no to call. I also emailed them but no reply up to now.
They are only good in collecting your bills, but WILL NOT help you reimburse it.

This place is horrible. DO NOT GO here if your pet is sick or need checkups. The Roxanne was rude and didnt care about if you pet lives or dies. We took our sick cat and they wouldn't tell us that we need to the cat take the hospital because they cannot do anything. They are just trying to overcharge you and keep charging you without telling you something is wrong. They care more for the money than your pets

Had my dog put to sleep here, and it was the worst experience I'll never have again. It was bad enough that I was letting go of my best friend, but the doctor on board was very cold and inattentive about it. Practically rushing.
The first thing he said was literally just:
"I'm gonna do this quick, I have a surgery to attend to." And then proceeded to put the iv in wrong, so when they put the medicine in to make him sleep (twice might I add) he didn't get it. My dog was wide awake and agitated. They had to take him back and redo it, and once they did he'd barely gotten to sleep before he knocked him off.
It was all around upsetting, and I know nothing can be done about it now, but maybe think twice if you have plans to do such a procedure in the Ontario location. They have better things to do, apparently...

I brought my dog in after become turned away from 3 local emergency vets due to short staffing. It was my first time going to banfield. They took my dog in the same day and began treating her. Rose, Kelly, Amanda, Sara, Susie were the nurses/technicians. They were gentle and caring. Dr Choi did a phenomenal job diagnosing and treating my dog. Dr. Chun also did a phenomenal job and called me and explained everything to me, preventative care, and follow up. It’s been years since I felt at ease with veterinarians, and I would highly recommend this specific location to pet parents. I will be forever grateful to the care team.

What is an Optimum Wellness Plan?
Optimum Wellness Plans are designed to provide annual preventive care. They include head-to-tail exams, vaccines, early screening diagnostics, consultations for proper nutrition, dental care and more! Because pets need ongoing preventive care, wellness plans automatically renew at the end of each twelve month period (unless paid in full at enrollment).
How do I pay for an Optimum Wellness Plan?
You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs. Your monthly payments can be automatically withdrawn from a checking or savings account or charged to a credit card so that you don’t have to worry about them once you enroll. We also offer the option of paying in full if you prefer.
What kind of appointment do I have?
• In-room appointments: You and your pet visit the vet together. Please arrive a few minutes before your appointment time
• Drop-off appointments: If you have a drop-off appointment, we will communicate a time to drop off your pet. Keep your phone nearby and we’ll call you when your pet is ready for pickup.
