  Great customer service! Dr.Kramer and staff were amazing with my Shih Tzu. My dog can be very hesitate to new people but she did wonderful. Dr.Kramer addressed all my concerns, we will definitely be back!

  I have been coming here for about a year now and I have to give the biggest shout out to dr.Kramer the amount of concern and interest she shows in my dogs make me feel so seen im so grateful. I can tell she truly loves what she does and is passionate about everyone she helps . DR KRAMER IS THE BEST Shout out to front desk AJ and dr Cranston as well

  I have yet to have a bad experience at Banfield. My first experience having to put down a cat many years ago in Seattle, they were attentive, kind, and gave plenty of time to spend with my cat. The team at the Oceanside location has been great to work with also. Their wellness plans also help provide affordable care and check up for your pets to keep their health updated the same way we do for ourselves!

  I had a terrible experience at Banfield in Oceanside. I rushed in with my dog who had explosive diarrhea and needed urgent care. I have an active care plan with Banfield, so I came here expecting support. The receptionist (AJ) told me I’d have to wait until 4 PM because both vets were busy, which I understood. What I didn’t understand was why she didn’t offer any real help or alternatives. Instead of suggesting another Banfield location or helping me find one, she told me to go to a pet hospital—defeating the entire purpose of paying for a Banfield plan. While sitting there, I looked it up myself and saw that this location had drop-off availability from 1:30–2:00 PM, even though I arrived at 1. Rather than offering to monitor my dog or help in any way, I was turned away. When I asked for her name, she became rude and aggressive, saying I could do whatever I want with it and that it wouldn’t change anything. This experience felt unprofessional, dismissive, and completely lacking in compassion for a pet in distress.

  Veterinarians are excellent, but they usually appear to be short on support staff. I experienced one recent incident where the receptionist was rude on the phone, as she was indifferent that I was on hold for almost 20 minutes. I was not angry and my voice was calm. I just mentioned the wait. Instead of saying, “I’m sorry we are really busy this morning,” or similar, she simply said, “Yes we are busy. How can I help you?” A little kindness would have gone a long way. It is unfortunate that it is most on my mind, because the others really are nice. Again, the veterinarians are great!
