Such a wonderful vet. January 5th i took my baby here to be put down after he was diagnosed with kidney cancer at the same vet the other day. The staff were AMAZING. They had a candle lit in honor of him at the front desk. They brought me and him into a room together and made it very clear that this was our room and that theres absolutely no rush. They said to tell them when im ready and even gave treats for him after getting his IV (sadly he had been refusing to eat and drink for days) They helped me pick out an urn and cremation services as well. When it came time to actually put him down, a very nice male vet did it. The staff were none judgemental and patient. They let me cry, they let me wail, borderline scream when he was euthanized. Finally, when it was over, the vet assured me that he will take very good care of my baby's body. It genuinely touched me, making the situation a bit less painful to know my cat was in good hands.

I recently took our 11year old doggie, Lucy for a wellness exam and was very impressed with the treatment she received. The staff were all professional and friendly. Liz at the Murreita location explained Lucy's test results and offered some wellness plans available for purchase. She didn't pressure me to proceed with any more services or purchases. After reading the wellness plan coverage I was interested in I returned to the store and purchased it.

This place has been the worst experience I have ever had being a pet owner. We wanted to get my 6 month old spayed, made the appointment and then the night before received a phone call telling me to reschedule because they feel my dog is too young and needs to wait a few more months. Didn't ask me to call and speak to the doctor, just told me to reschedule. When I called back they said if I still wanted to go ahead, then the doctor was okay with it. So I said yes.
My husband took her in the next day and they again wouldn't do it because the doctor wanted to speak with him first and was running late. They thought our dog was purebred when she is very mixed-breed dog. Mind you, they did the wisdom panel when we went for our first appointment a month before and had the results. Once my husband explained that and the doctor looked up the results, then all of the sudden it was no problem at all to spay her. We had to reschedule for a week later.
After her spay, I was told to call if I had any problems or she needs additional meds to keep her calm. I called twice and was put straight to voicemail after waiting 20 minutes each time. Called a 3rd time and spoke with a lady this time. She was going to relay my message to the techs and they would get back to me soon. It has been 3 days and I have yet to receive a call back from them.
This has been the most stressful experience of my life. At the end of the day they need to work on their customer service and how they approach pet owners. (The tech who did bring my dog out to me after her surgery was very helpful and kind)
Unfortunately I am locked into a contract with them for a year, but I will not continue my pets care at this location after it's done.

You can spread the cost of your wellness plan across the 12 months of your annual agreement to make it easier to budget for the essential health care your pet needs.
