  Doesn’t matter if you confirm 3 times prior to your appointment, be ready to have it cancelled for “an emergency.” I was called the day before the appointment and was asked to reschedule to noon. We selected this appointment time for early morning for a reason based on our plans and the fact that we are taking our dog to boarding on Sunday. When told no, that we would like to keep the appointment, we were then told that we needed a “wellness check,” for any vaccinations. No where on the website does it state this, or was told prior to booking the appointment online. At this point, I felt like they just wanted us to move the appointment for their convenience. I told the receptionist to keep the appointment (again confirming) to then receive a voicemail that they were canceling my appointment. I called back to keep it, however now I’m being told that there was an “emergency” and all appointments were cleared…. How convenient. Also why not just say that instead of asking if we want to reschedule. We were planning on getting a vet plan for our dog with VETCO, not anymore. Huge red flag, they clearly don’t care about respecting your time or the fact that you’ve confirmed the appointment to keep it.

  I have come to this Vetco a few times despite being a far drive for me because they have the most available appointments. Today was a nightmare! The first person in the room is a tech (I assume) who asks general questions. They then say we can make this a quick tech appointment and I can take the dog back or you can wait for the vet. I told them I had two questions so I'd like to wait. They say nothing about it so I assume everything is fine. Fast forward..I've been there for 30 minutes total and the vet comes in and immediately starts lecturing that this appointment is only supposed to be 15 minutes and she can't answer questions, she can only address exactly what I came for and she was JUST NOW notified that I had paperwork to fill out (the paperwork is only 5 questions that are all generic, literally: is the dog vaccinated? spayed? Next vaccination? Normal healthy dog? Height/weight? I was taken aback but said we can cancel the heartworm test as I needed my paper filled out for my apartment this week. She then says she will also do the heartworm but needs me to understand that I can't come in here and ask questions on top of my visit. I explained that it's frustrating that I sat in an hour of traffic to be told this and her response "I sit in this traffic everyday." It's almost like she didn't realize she gets paid to work there and I pay to come there...so inconsiderate and rude. She then says I should talk to her supervisor, I say that I'll just handle it online if we can just get my paperwork filled out. She asks me again to speak to the supervisor, I just say Okay. Supervisor comes in saying "You wanted to see me?" Umm...? She then explains the exact same thing about appointments only being 15 minutes...as if I knew this? I've never been told by a vet that I can't ask questions. Then says she will fill out the paperwork and we can make another appointment for the heartworm test...so now the test if off the table again. The last part was during checkout, the supervisor sounded happy to let me know that my 5 questions was going to cost me $80. I can't believe I took off of work and drove an hour to be treated like worthless trash. Obviously not coming back here but that was such an unsettling experience.

  Took my cat to see this Vetco today. Clean facility, friendly staff, I could finally find the Vet and staff that care about my pet without any pressure to talk with. I will come back again!
