Great vet! Great caring, loving staff, and doctors, very thorough, they take time with patients, and explain care very well, they provide great care, clean office, and exam rooms. So glad I found them! Highly recommend. I felt very secure that my dog was in great care after speaking with the staff, and seeing how the office is run. Very good and, kind people. Great care for my dog. I will continue to take all my animals here, and refer them to anyone needing a good vet! They also have great communication, and call right away after surgery, to ensure you that your baby is doing well, and surgery was a success. Thank you, American Pet Hospital!

I brought my two dogs there to one needed a worm shot and rabies shot and the other needed a worm shot. And they gave them both rabies shots and worm shots, they weren't supposed to do that.I'll never go back there again
I’ve brought my dog here multiple times and have growing concerns about the care he received. I’ve rarely been able to speak directly with the veterinarian, as communication is usually handled by trainees. While they do their best, I’m often left with unanswered questions.
The one time I did speak directly with the veterinarian, I felt discouraged from asking questions. He appeared irritated, offered minimal explanation, and seemed uncertain about the plan of care, which left me feeling uneasy.
At our most recent visit, I brought my dog in because he was not walking properly. An exam and X-ray were done, and I was told he had mild arthritis. I was then advised to start Librela, a medication newly introduced in the U.S., with potential serious neurological side effects including ataxia, seizures, muscle weakness, paralysis, and urinary incontinence with excessive thirst and urination. Given the limited explanation and risks involved, I was uncomfortable proceeding.
I sought a second opinion, and during that exam the veterinarian immediately noted that my dog’s heart does not sound normal. I was told this should have been detected quickly during a proper exam, which further increased my concerns.
I was provided with a copy of my dog’s X-rays and had them reviewed by the new veterinarian. He immediately noticed stones in my dog’s bladder that should have been addressed right away. I was charged over $300 for these X-rays, yet this finding was never discussed with me.
I have since been informed that bladder stones are a serious condition and require prompt attention. The fact that this was missed during the initial review has added to my concerns about the quality and thoroughness of the care my dog received.
I promise you, look elsewhere if you love your pet.
For a private cremation service for our adult cat around 10-12lbs, it was $264 if I remember correctly. The wait for the ashes to be returned is supposed to be around 2 weeks. Staff was overall friendly and understanding.
