- AMAmayah M.Jan 4, 20261.0I went to the Petco hospital in Jurupa because my dog is sick with a UTI. I decided not to run a urinalysis due to it being too expensive. At first, Dr Dill was going to send my pet and I off without any antibiotics. Probably in hope he’d get worse and eventually have to run a urinalysis, X-Rays, & eventually surgery. However, I insisted that my pet be put on antibiotics asap so he doesn’t get worse and Dr Dill agreed. So then she put him on a round of Cefopodoxime for only five days. These five days have finished. On the six day, I then tried to get in contact with Dr. Dill to only I got no response and was only told to come in and make another exam. Mind you, my pet has now become way better and is doing a lot better with the medicine but I feel like Dr. Dill only gave me five days worth of medicine in hopes I’d come back to spend more money on another exam and more medicine when she should’ve just given me the full amount of medicine the first time. I kept trying to get ahold of the Petco hospital all day and got no response. Now it’s Sunday and my pet is suffering because just like I thought, the UTI is coming back and now I have to spend even more money on another exam and more medicine, when I should’ve just gotten the full amount the first time. I feel like this is a evil tactic to make more money and believe this needs to be investigated. Also the lady at the front desk was gone was almost 20 minutes. I overheard her say she was going back and forth between Petco and the Dollar Tree. She forgot to take my pet’s temperature, I even had to remind them. And had me waiting there forever just to check in. Horrible service and I hope anyone who needs the proper care they need sees this and does not go here!! They are money hungry and will scam you!!! Go somewhere that actually cares about your pet, not just about money.

I like to look at the clearance so I picked up some cat toys. The closing manager rang me up, she was very nice and friendly.
